Jesus IS the Messiah.
“I pray for the ones who are searching for THE TRUTH. I pray that you search for the one true God with all your heart, soul and mind. He is looking to be found. There are many distractions along the path…the most common pitfall is our own “self”. Get out of your head, and into your heart. Reach into the deepest part of you that desires to be loved, yet seems to push true love away. True love will never hurt you. God is LOVE. He has not forgotten you, even if you have forgotten Him. You are here reading this today for a reason. May your hearts be filled with the peace of God as the truth of Christ will set you free.”

Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall messiah be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”

And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the Land of Judea, art not the least among the princes of Judah: for out of thee shall come a governor, that shall rule my people Israel.”

And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child, And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the lord shone round about them; and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God a, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made know abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept tall these things and pondered them in her heart. But, while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the lord appeared unto him in \a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife; for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus; for he shall shave His people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. And when she saw him, she was troubled as this saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary; for thou has found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring fort a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of his father David; And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; an of His kingdom there shall be no end. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: that that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hat the light shined. Thou hast multiplied the nations, and not increased the joy; they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. For thou as broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be unto His shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The prince of peace. These things said Esaias, when he saw His glory, and spake of Him, Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.”

And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes, And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem. And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, by what power or by what name, have ye done this? Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means hi is made whole. This is the stone, which was set at naught of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus. And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.”

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, this cup is the New Testament in my blood, which is shed for you. But, behold, the hand of him betrayeth me is with me on the table. And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined; but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed! And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.”

“And the whole multitude of them arose, and let Him unto Pilate. And they began to accuse Him, saying, we found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, sayeth that He Himself is Christ a King. And Pilate asked Him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And He answered Him and said, Thou sayest it. Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man. And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching that all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place. When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilean. And as soon as he knew that He belonged unto Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time. And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad; for he was desirous to see Him of a long season, because he had heard man things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by Him. Then he questioned with Him in many words; but He answered him nothing. And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused Him. And Herod with his men of war set Him at naught, and mocked Him, and arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate. And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together; for before they were at enmity between themselves. And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people; and, behold, I having examined Him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse Him; No, not yet Herod; for I sent you to him; and lo, noting worthy of death is done unto Him. I will therefore chastise Him, and release Him. (For of necessity He must release one unto them at the feast.) And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas; (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.) Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them. But they cried, saying, Crucify Him, crucify Him. And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath He done? I have found no cause of death in Him; I will therefore chastise him, and let him go. And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that He might be crucified. And the voices of them of the chief priests prevailed. And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.”
And New Testament Fulfillment #2: Matt 27:1, 2
“When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put Him to death; and When they had bound Him, they led Him away, and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate the governor.”

“And they that passed by reviled Him, wagging their heads, And saying, thou that destoyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save myself. If thou be the son of God, come down from the cross. Likewise also the chief priests mocking Him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others: Himself he cannot save. If he were the king of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. He trusted in God: let him deliver Him now, if he will have Him: for he said, I am the Son of God. The thieves also, which were crucified with Him, cast the same in His teeth.”
And New Testament Fulfillment #2: Luke 23:11, 35-37
“And Herod with his men of war set Him at naught, and mocked Him, and arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him again to Pilate.”

Messiah was to die by crucifixion:

“I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowls.”

And they crucified Him, and parted His garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, they parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. And sitting down they watched Him there; and set up over His head His accusation written, this is Jesus The King of the Jews. Then were there two thieves crucified with Him, one on the right hand, and the another on the left. And they that passed by reviled Him, wagging their heads, And saying, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. IF thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. Likewise also the chief priests mocking Him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; Himself He cannot save. If He be the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. He trusted in God: let Him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. The thiefs also, which were crucified with Him, cast the same in His teeth. Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth our Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying Eli, Eli, lama sabach ta ni? That is to say, My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me? Some of them that stood there, when they heard that said, this man calleth for Elias. And straightway one of them ran, and took a sponge and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave Him to drink. The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him. Jesus, when He had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.”
New Testament Fulfillment #2: John 19:28-30
“Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the Passover. Pilate then went out unto them, and said, what accusation bring ye against this man? They answered and said unto Him, if He were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered Him up unto thee.”
Messiah was to suffer with criminals and pray for His enemies:
Old Testament Prophecy #1: Is. 53:12

But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came here out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and His record is true: and He knoweth that He saith true, that ye might believe.”

New Testament Fulfillment #1: Acts 2:22-32
“Ye men of Israel, here these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know; Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain; Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that He should be holden of it. For David speaketh concerning Him, I foresaw the lord always before my face, for He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither with thou suffer thing Holy One to see corruption. Thou hast made know to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of Joy with thy countenance. Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, hat he is both dead and buried, and his seplchre is with us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; HE is seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we are all witnesses.”

His countenance was like lightning, and His raiment white as snow: And for fear of Him the keepers did sake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for He is risen, as He said. Come; see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead: and behold, He goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see Him; lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy; and did run to bring His disciples word.”
New Testament Fulfillment #3: Acts 13:35-37

And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. And stranger shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But ye shall be named the Priests of the lord: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double; everlasting joy shall be unto them. For I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make and everlasting covenant with them. And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them that they are the seed, which the Lord hath blessed. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he that covered me with their robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all nations.”
New Testament Fulfillment: Luke 4:16:21
“And He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Esaias. And he closed the book, and He gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on Him.” And he began to say unto them, this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”

“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His anointed, saying:”
New Testament Fulfillment: Rev. 19:19
“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army.”
The glorious Messiah described:
Old Testament Prophecy: Is. 63:1
“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? This that is glorious in His apparel, traveling in the greatness of His strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
New Testament Fulfillment: Rev. 19:11-16
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon Him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called the Word of God. And the armies, which were in heaven, followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine line, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations; and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadth the winepress of the fierceness and the wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.”
Jesus is the sacrificial lamb:
Old Testament Prophecy: Is. 53:7
“He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not His mouth; He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth.”
New Testament Fulfillment #1: Acts 8:32
“The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was Led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before His shearer, so opened he not His mouth.”
New Testament Fulfillment #2: John 1:29
“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
