Book Review: The Circle Maker  By: Mark Batterson

Mark paints a clear Biblical picture of the power of prayer and the power of prayer circles.

Through his examples, I learned that prayer is not just a request of the heart it is an exercise of faith that includes our personal imagination. God not only is capable of the impossible, He delights in showing Himself in it.

As your faith grows, the circumference of your prayer should be growing and expanding to the capabilities of our limitless God.

Mark challenges the reader to think beyond his or her personal need and circumstance and to follow the heart of God by including others into our conversations with Him.

He encourages the reader with his real-life experiences of how praying with the power of Elijah is relevant in today’s world.

Some of my prayers are still being answered as I type this.  I may never see the results of them until I am on the other side of this life.

I do know that my thoughts on God and my prayer life have grown immensely through reading The Circle Maker.

If you have no interest in benefiting from a supernaturally charged prayer life than this book is not for you.
