“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches; He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:4-5
Today’s Christian Daily Devotional
How productive has your life been lately? Many people say they don’t have the time to commit to daily devotions or prayer, but I beg to differ. Anyone that wants to live with power and success really cannot afford NOT to. Have you been abiding in God’s Word, or speaking to Him in prayer? God is available for all of us twenty-four-seven. The great thing is, God also governs your whole day. If you give Him first priority in the day, He has the power to bless your time management and the productivity of your efforts. Devotions and prayer are for your benefit, not God’s! YOU need HIM to help guide you through the tough everyday choices you are faced with. We all have the power of God at our disposal. It is foolish NOT to tap into some of that!
“Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for always being available to me. I think sometimes because I don’t see you with my natural eyes, it is easy to forget that you are there. If I look around me, I see evidence of you everywhere. Help me never to forget that you are watching and waiting for me. Please give me the determination to start the day off with Power, and that means investing in quality time with you, my heavenly Father. I want a good and solid relationship with you and that can only come with time spent getting to know you (through your Word). I don’t just want to use you because I benefit, I want to also remember to ask you to use me for yours. In Jesus’ precious name, for the best relationship I can have with you, Amen.”
