“Dear Heavenly Father,
I want to thank you for the faith I had to come to know you in the first place. Many people don’t have the peace that this kind of faith and trust brings.
It says in your Word, that having faith in God is better than any good deed I could do. Because of this, I know that faith is something powerful and it is a gift that you want me to have. If faith is important to you, it is critical for me as a believer. I will not function with power or have a life filled with blessing without it.
I am being very honest when I say that sometimes I waver (even doubt) when I pray. This is the very thing that is stopping my prayers from being effective, and it is also insulting you. I am sorry for this.
Can you help me by building my faith everyday, more and more? Help me to remember all the times that you led me to victory in the past. As you do this, apply that memory to my shield of faith in the spirit, so when I even have a flash of doubt come across my mind, I can lift that shield of faith (and past victories) and be strengthened.
I know you desire for me to believe that you want good things for me, and I know that Jesus Himself is agreeing with me as I pray for you to increase my faith. It says in your word that without faith it is impossible to please God. And, Lord, more than anything, my desire is to please you and to fulfill your will for my life.
In the name of Jesus, I stand against the demonic force of doubt, unbelief, double-mindedness, insecurity, lack of confidence and fear of the unknown to the spirit of balak and I cast you out.
Lord, put a guard around my heart and keep it tender toward your still small voice. When the enemy speaks lies of doubt and defeat in my ear, squeeze my heart with your love and increase my knowledge and understanding in the spiritual realm of what is truly going on.
Help me to rely on my confidence in the goodness of you to carry me through that rough patch that is testing my faith.
On the other side of that challenge, let your victory be another testament to add to my shield of faith and let my faith increase seven times after.
Lord, every time the enemy comes at me with doubt and fear and a challenge to drop my confidence in you, let him be aware of this covenant we made today. He will know that whatever he brings my way, will actually be used against him to make me stronger, and increase my intimacy, confidence love and trust in you.
In Jesus’ name, cover me in the blood, as I go to the next level of faith. I trust you, Lord, and I know from this day forward, I will trust you more and more. Amen.”
