“Dear Heavenly Father,
We stand against the spirit of rebellion that is trying to stop the spiritual growth in this family. God has ordained them to be encouragers, and with arguing he is stomping on their hearts and spirits. Lord, we lift our shields of faith and see the enemy and his simple tactics of using people to get his mission done.
Lord, the head of this household needs the cover of your love to handle each situation with the wisdom of Christ. Lord, he/she does not want to push their child away from the God that will empower ____________________. But, satan is whispering lies in __________’s ear.
Show _____________________ that the love and stability and wisdom of parents that keep God first is a rare and special thing. Nothing the world has to offer can compare.
Give _______________ the ability to see into the spiritual realm. Show him/her what the result of making the choices that the enemy is encouraging him/her can do for _________________’s future.
We bind the spirit of greed, lust, power and selfishness to the spirit of Balack. In the name of Jesus we stand on the word of God.
What God has started in this family, HE will finish. This whole family is covered in the blood of Christ.
Give these parents the remembrance of your armor. The shoes of peace means trust in you. This will ground them when they are starting to loose hope.
Lord, allow them to hear to your still small voice very clearly. _____________________will be safe in your hands as they cover him/her in prayer.
The world will start to loose it’s appeal to him/her as his spiritual eyes are being opened. The way of Christ will be the path of light, and the warmth and love that Christ and his/her parent’s have for _________________will drown the lies and deceit of the enemy.
This temporary trial will bring such joy to the restoration of not only _____________’s life, but of anybody he/she tells.
In Jesus’ precious name, we love you, we trust you and we know you have only good things for those who go by faith, not by sight. Amen.”

If you or someone you know is being abused in any way, do not recommend using prayer as a substitute for getting help. We, at shalombewithyou.com recommend prayer in addition to getting help. Reach out to someone safe who will assist you in protecting yourself. If you notice someone else who is being abused, seek guidance on how to help that person from a certified abuse counselor.
