“Dear Heavenly Father,
You know all that this family is up against. The generational curses go back on both the maternal and paternal bloodlines. You said that the children would suffer the consequences of the sins of the fathers up until the third and fourth generations. You did provide a way of escape for those who are your children. Jesus.
Lord, your Son died and suffered the curse of the cross so that no child of yours would have to suffer. We stand against the suffering that has been inflicted upon our household. We know that we will reap what we sow, and so we will sow good seeds in our family.
We stand with our Armor of God on. We have the shoes of peace, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the spirit and our shield of faith on. Thank you for equipping your children with all that we need to stand against the enemy with power. This battle of addiction and abuse that has been a curse upon this family for generations will be fought with God on our side.
Lord, we ask that you reveal to us any unknown sin that could be giving the enemy a foothold on our family’s front. Reveal it to each of our hearts, and allow us the strength to give these sinful behaviors up.
*As the sin is revealed recite:
“I confess the sin of _______________. I regret I have engaged in it. I renounce the activities I have done relating to it in the past, I turn from doing it in the future and I ask for your forgiveness of this, Father. I accept your mercy and receive the full benefits of being forgiven, as I know my slate has been wiped clean. Lord, give me the power to know when this sin will try and sneak back into my life, and show me a clear way of escape from it. I ask that you break any and all generational curses that this sin has brought in my life and my family’s life in the generations leading all the way back to Adam in both bloodlines. Break any and all demonic ties that harboring this sin has brought into my life or my family’s life. Bind them to the Spirit of Balak and send them to the pit of hell for trying to steal away the hope in us. Thank you, Jesus. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.”
I take responsibility for the sins that I have engaged in, and I ask that you continue to reveal as many as need to be shown to me for my family to get complete freedom and deliverance from all demonic forces that are trying to take us down.
Please cover every family member with the blood of Jesus and give us eyes to see each other with love. Give us hearts to seek forgiveness and to accept forgiveness for the sins committed against us. We will not be part of the enemy’s plan to destroy us. We will be partners with God in our restoration.
In Jesus’ precious name, continue to give us humble hearts to hear your voice and obey it, Amen.”
