“Dear Heavenly Father,
_____________ is coming to you with a broken heart. He/She is believing the lies of the enemy that he/she is not enough, and that his/her worth and value comes from something that will only fade with time. We stand against this lie.
________________was created and designed by the master of beauty and He knew exactly what He was doing when He carefully formed him/her. Lord, help ______________ to see that it hurts you when he/she does not appreciate or notice the special things about him/her.
In his/her life, ________________has people to get into relationships with that were not of good character; and therefore did not treat or value him/her the way that you designed men/women to do. This past we cast down in the name of Jesus. The untruths and lies that ___________ has based her/his insecurities on are exposed right now. Lord, show____________the truth of what YOU say about ______________.
Show ______________ where his/her weaknesses and bad choices lie and give him/her the power to enable himself/herself to make choices based on your word, not on his/her immediate lust or to fill an insecurity.
Lord, secure _____________’s identity in you. Show him/her how much he/she is loved, his/her gifts and talents and all the wonderful attributes that he/she offers to those he/she loves. Protect ____________’s heart as he/she tries to reach out and love again. Increase ______________ capacity to receive and understand your love and the depth of it. This love will heal all ________________’s wounds.
Give ______________ the wisdom he/she needs to give his/her heart to a person who is worthy, not just a person who will tell him/her what ____________’s heart desires to hear.
Lord, open ___________’s eyes, clear his/her mind and heighten his/her senses to be very aware of the clues of character that are displayed in the people ________________ allows in the “holy of holies” area of his/her heart.
In Jesus precious name, we cast down the spirit of insecurity, of self-doubt, self-hatered and depression. We lift up the Word of God and choose to believe what God’s word says.
God will supply ALL of _____________’s needs–mental, spiritual and relational, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you or someone you know is being abused in any way, do not recommend using prayer as a substitute for getting help. We, at shalombewithyou.com recommend prayer in addition to getting help. Reach out to someone safe who will assist you in protecting yourself. If you notice someone else who is being abused, seek guidance on how to help that person from a certified abuse counselor.
