“Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the body you have given me. I know I am fearfully and wonderfully made in your image.
This gift is so precious, and I have been taking it for granted. I want to praise you for the life and health I do have right now. Help me to be steadfast in my commitments to developing the habits I need to live a long, healthy and blessed life.
I have made the excuse in the past that there is not time enough in the day to take care of myself. That is lie from the pit of hell. Satan would love for me to be unhealthy and unable to spread the joy of Christ to others. He would love for my body to be a bad example and testimony of the good plans God has for all of His children. I will not entertain the thought of laziness as an excuse any longer.
Lord, be Lord of my day. Help me to schedule in the activities that are important for my health. In the name of Jesus’ I bind the demonic spirit of guilt that has got me pulled in so many directions but up and forward. I am moving onto the good health and plans that God has for me and my family.
Taking care of myself is not being selfish. It is my duty as a steward of the body God gave me. It is insulting to Him to disrespect my health. Lord, please give me new eyes to see new ways I can do things. Encourage me by sending friends and opening up new opportunities to get motivated and active.
As these new unfamiliar circumstances arise, please help me to get over my fear of the unknown. I bind the demonic force of fear and open my heart to see the unknown as an opportunity to explore and discover new things about myself and about other people. As I learn how to take care of myself, help me to take better care of the people you have put I have stewardship over.
I will eat the things that will give me energy, not take it from me. I will eat as close to the earth and your original plan for man as I can. I will be balanced in my approach to eating, exercise and sleeping and avoid the activities that will steal from enjoying a long life. I will do what I can to have a good and healthy life and I will trust that God will take care of the rest for me.
I give you my life and submit to your ways. If there is a habit that is keeping me from being healthy, show me it. I am turning to you for help through it. I am making the commitment to continue to improve my health and life with you as my life coach and partner.
I will read the word of God as my source of wisdom and daily bread. As I feed on your knowledge, I will gain a greater understanding of what is important and what is not. I will only commit to the responsibilities, activities and people that you lead me to.
All other distractions I will find a way to phase out of my life. Help me to say “no” when I need to. In the name of Jesus I bind the demonic power of rejection, fear of rejection and insecurity. These attitudes will no longer have the power to weigh me down and stop me anymore. I am not responsible for everyone else’s comfort and happiness. I am only responsible for following God’s will for my life. Thank you, Lord for releasing me from guilt, depression, hopelessness, helplessness, rejection, insecurity and the spirit of neediness. Bind them all to the spirit of balak and send them back to the pit.
Thank you Lord for providing me with all my needs. The word of God will guide me and Jesus Christ Himself is praying in agreement that your will be done in my life as it is in heaven. Amen!”
