“Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for blessing me to live in a country that allows the freedom of prayer. Lord, I come to you with a serious petition on my heart. The church leadership I suffering, and so many are turning from you because of it.
Many are hungry for the Word of God, but few are truly being fed. I ask that you will instill a Godly wisdom in all believer’s hearts to do their own searching for your voice in the Word (on their own).
Too many have become dependant on others feeding them; and because of this, your flock is dying out.
In your Word, you spoke of false prophets and apostles. In the end times it says that many would be deceived by doctrines of demons. Lord, I pray upon every believer’s hearts, ears and eyes. Show all who are being deceived the truth. Give them the strength to walk away, even if they have to take the risk of being alone.
In your Word it says that we are never alone (as you are always with us). Increase your presence around those of us who have chosen to break out of the flock in search for your voice.
While we are seeking you, Lord, reach out and touch us in a real way. Find us, and minister to us. Lead us to the right leadership that has a servant’s heart and does not seek to be glorified or worshiped himself.
This is a time of testing, of separating the chaff from the wheat. Sift us, Lord. We trust you. Separate us so we can serve you. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.”
