“Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you that America was founded on values based on your Word. It says in the Bible that there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek, male and female. We celebrate that America can appreciate our differences, and attempt (by the law) to treat all humans equally.
Lord, I come to you with a broken heart. I see America as a nation that is losing it’s air supply, as we are no longer dependant on the breath of your Holy Spirit. We have let our power overwhelm us into thinking we can function successfully without your blessing and without acknowledging the God who put us on the map to begin with.
Lord, not all who live in America like watching what our country is becoming. Many of us feel powerless to stop the destruction. Our children are getting poisoned with the lies of satan (through the media glorifying lifestyles that will bring destruction and future despair).
Many people stopped planning for the future because they have lost their hope in our future. Lord, America needs it’s vision restored. Show us what we can be again. Guide us back to you. Grant us mercy and send leadership that puts you first, and leaves the country back in your capable hands. Bless us and protect us from our own pride and arrogance. Please cover the whole nation and all who abide in this prosperous land in the blood of your Son. In Jesus’ precious name to be an example of complete restoration Amen.”
