“Dear Heavenly Father,
A tragedy has hit the hearts of many homes. Many lives have been affected by the evil acts of one individual.
Lord, please comfort the hearts that are experiencing such deep grief from their senseless loss.
It says in your word that there is a time to laugh and a time to cry. Many are crying out your name. They are asking for you to show up, Lord.
Lord, we know that when your name is called, you will show up in your own particular way to each individual person. Please touch the lives that need to know that you hear their cries.
Please bind any demonic forces that will try to prevent those who are calling your name from seeing you are working and that you care. The devil will be breathing lies that God does not care. Increase the faith of those who doubt you.
Please soften the hearts that might turn their anger against you instead of against the evil that is not of you. You said that vengeance is Your’s. Help the ones who are grieving to trust that you will avenge the innocent.
In the name of Jesus I bind the spirit of violence, rage, hatred of purity, love of evil and the principalities and powers of oppression and severe depression.
Lord, you said you would defend the weak and avenge the oppressed. We plead the cases of the blood of each of these children and the teachers who shielded them.
The ones who are hurting the most are the ones who have lost a piece of their hearts on December 14, 2012. But, we know that the souls of the innocent are safe in your arms right now. Comfort the families that are left behind to deal with the pain of this tragedy.
Who can give comfort like the Holy Spirit? No one can say the words that you can speak to the hearts of the hurting. Speak Lord; let those who cry hear your voice and experience the supernatural power of your shalom.
In Jesus’ precious name, let every person who is hurting from this tragedy come to know the peace that passes all understanding through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”
