“Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for the power of prayer. I know that for me to live the life you dreamed for me when I was formed in my mother’s womb, that I must come into agreement with you and your dreams. This means I must renew my mind to think like you think.
Lord, this can only happen if you bless my mind for this.
I ask that you show me where my wrong thinking and mind-sets have led me astray from your will for my life. I ask that you help me to give away my preconceived notions about others and you up. Show me how I am supposed to really view others and you.
Help me not to doubt in your goodness, wisdom and plan for my life. Help me to grow in faith exponentially every day.
Help me to hate the sins that draw me away from your presence. I desire to love righteousness, holiness and want you to completely sanctify and separate me from the world and it’s temporary pleasures. I desire that my pleasure would be to completely please you in my daily walk.
Lord, when I got saved you promised that I was a new creature. Sometimes I doubt this. I ask that you remove all doubt and give me the vision that you have for me. Show me how you see me and allow my growth to be into the mold of your vision.
As I commit to the renewal of my mind, I understand that the only way I can know your will is by reading your word. I am praying for you to bless me in the understanding and revelation of the knowledge contained in it.
Help me to find the times in my day that I can invest into our relationship. When I have a moment, allow me to remember that I can always call on you in prayer. Help me to do this very easily as if I can see you standing with me in the room. Help me to be aware of your presence and to never forget that you said you would never leave me or forsake me.
In Jesus’ precious name, bless me every time I lay my head down at night. I pray for a renewal of my mind, body, soul and spirit. I ask that you speak to me in visions and dreams and that these will be the very passions that will carry me through this life and into the next with honor for you. Amen.”
