“Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you that there is a Body of Christ on earth. It seems that the church has not come together in unity like Jesus instructed in His word.
Lord, today I pray that every believer in you love you more than they do themselves. I pray that each individual offer themselves as a living sacrifice to you and your will.
Today, I break down the barriers, break every offense, cast down the spirit of pride, judgment, self-righteous spirit, gossiping spirit, lying tongue and religious spirit in my own life. I pray that the spirit of God convict every believer in you to do the same.
Lord, allow us to be a light to the world. This can only happen if we show them the love of God. If we cannot express the love of God to our brothers and sisters, we have no impact on the world around us. We must walk the walk.
I pray against posturing, looking good on the outside but being corrupt from the inside. I pray against selfish motives, goals and mind-sets.
In the name of Jesus I ask for a blessing upon each child of Christ. I pray that you bless us with a conscience that is sensitive to your will. I pray that we will be repulsed by our own pet sins and give them easily to you, that we go deeper into our prayer life, grounding ourselves in the word of God and knowing you on a personal level.
Lord, as we abide in you and your word, we are abiding in the secret place of the most high. Under the shadow of your wings, we are protected.
Thank you for the Armor of God, I apply it now to myself in the spiritual realm and I am ready for the next level of growth that you want to take me. In Jesus name, bless the local church starting with me today. Amen.”
